1. Terms & Agreement

Jozilla Studios operates on a non-refundable booking fee basis. By paying a booking fee and proceeding with a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Bookings & Payments

• A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your session.
• Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received and proof of payment is submitted.
• Provisional dates are not held without payment.
• The remaining balance is payable on arrival at the studio.
• Bookings made within 7 days of the session require full upfront payment.

3. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals disrupt studio flow and impact other scheduled sessions.

• Up to 20 minutes late: The session may proceed but will be shortened accordingly.
• 20–40 minutes late: The session may continue only if at least 40 minutes remain, subject to a R500 late fee payable before continuing.
• More than 40 minutes late / less than 30 minutes remaining: The session is forfeited, treated as a no-show, and a new booking and payment will be required.

Late arrival does not entitle clients to extended session time.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• All booking fees are non-refundable.
• Cancellations or reschedule requests must be communicated in advance.

Rescheduling Fees:

• More than 48 hours’ notice (weekday): R1,000
• Less than 48 hours’ notice (weekday): R2,000
• Weekend reschedules: A new booking fee is required, regardless of notice.

Failure to attend without notice results in forfeiture of the booking fee.

In cases of serious illness, hospitalisation, or death of an immediate family member, the session may be credited toward a future booking. Proof may be requested.

5. Overtime

If additional time is required, clients must notify the studio as early as possible.

• Overtime is subject to availability.
• Charged at R1,000 per hour.
• Only applicable if no other bookings follow.

Clients are responsible for ensuring their booking includes sufficient setup and wrap-up time.

6. Deliverables & Refunds

• Final images are delivered only after full payment is received.
• No refunds are issued once final images have been delivered.
• RAW files are not included unless agreed to in writing and paid for separately.

7. Copyright & Image Usage

• Jozilla Studios retains full copyright to all images produced.
• Clients are granted personal-use rights only.
• Images may not be sold, altered, or used commercially without written permission.

Jozilla Studios may use images for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes unless the client opts out in writing prior to the session.

Clients who do not wish their images to be used may purchase full usage rights.

8. Breakages & Liability

• Clients are responsible for any damage or breakages caused during the session.
• Breakage fees apply depending on the item damaged.
• Jozilla Studios is not liable for loss, injury, or damage to persons or personal property during the session.

All participation is at the client’s own risk.

9. General

• Right of admission reserved.
• No verbal agreements are binding unless confirmed in writing.
• These Terms & Conditions apply to all sessions without exception.
